August 2022, Open Unemployment Rate of Tapanuli Tengah Regency was 7.97 percent

Abstract

The total labor force in August 2022 was 210.141 people, an increase of 9.045 people compared to August 2021.

The Labor Force Participation Rate in August 202 was 76,51 percent, up 1,46 percentage points compared to August 2021.

The August 2022 Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) was 7,97 percent, up 0,73 percentage points compared to August 2021.

The working population is 193.387 people, an increase of 6.857 people compared to August 2021. The employment sector that experienced the largest percentage increase was the Services Sector (8,18 percentage points). Meanwhile, the sector that experienced the largest decline was the Agricultural Sector (10,69 percentage points).

There were 3.453 people (1.26 percent of the working age population) affected by COVID-19. Consisting of unemployment due to COVID-19 (9,90 percent Non-Working Forces due to COVID-19 (9,76 percent), and working residents who experienced reduced working hours due to COVID-19 (80,34 percent).
