Activity of Frame Area Sample 2018

KSA is defined as a sampling approach that uses the land area as the enumeration unit. This system is based on geographic information system (GIS) technology, remote sensing, information technology, and statistics which is currently being implemented in Indonesia for the acquisition of data and information on food crop agriculture. The KSA approach is expected to respond to the provision of accurate and timely data and information to support the planning of the National Food Security Program.
This KSA activity lasts for 1 (one) year from January to December 2018 in all parts of Indonesia, including Tapanuli Tengah Regency. Implementation in Tapanuli Tengah District conducted by BPS by assigning the District Statistics Coordinator (KSK) and experienced partners.
Implementation of this KSA activity can be realized as a result of cooperation between the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Agency for Assessment and Application of Technology. Hopefully this approach technique is useful for food crop statistics in particular and agricultural statistics in general.
