Abstract

• The economy of Tapanuli Tengah Regency in 2021 growth by 2.56 percent.

• Based on the production approach, the highest growth from types of economic activities was Information and Communication at 7.73 percent, followed by Financial and Insurance Activities at 6.25 percent, and Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles at 5.73 percent.

• Based on the expenditure approach, growth for the Gross Fixed Capital Formation was 3.54 percent, followed by the Household Consumption Expenditure at 2.86 percent and Non-Profit Institutions Serving Household (NPISH) Consumption Expenditure at 0.27 percent.

• Tapanuli Tengah Regency's GRDP in 2021 based on Current Market Prices reached Rp. 10,618.75 billion, while based on Constant market Prices reached Rp. 7,149.28 billion.

• Type of economic activity that gave dominant role to the GRDP of Tapanuli Tengah Regency in 2021 was Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing at 46.20 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure approach was Household Consumption Expenditure at 68.14 percent
